KaGPWD was founded in 1995 in response to the discrimination, isolation, exclusion faced by people with disabilities within the society, and the environmental management crisis within Uganda. This organization serves people living with different disabilities and helps families of people living with disabilities. They focus on engaging schools, community farmer groups, and low-income households.
